Audited Supplier The control room is the heart of every installation, where all signals from production and process are coming in - this is the place where the automation of the plant and the synchronisation of the processes is realized.
The process control system serves to control a process plant by
The field devices (sensors - like e.g. pressure transmitters - and actuators - like regulating valves) realize the control and regulation duties. The work stations for operation and monitoring serve to visualize the process plant and are connected to the field devices by a bus system.
The process control system vario Batch is applied for production planning, recording of the operating data, the organisation of the basic data and other purposes.
The automatic process sequences are visualized graphically and executed by a PLC control (SIEMENS PCS7 or SPS). The system is designed in accordance with the particular industrial requirements for a variable recipe control, i.e. a free combination of raw materials and control parameters (control recipe and material recipe) is possible.
Additional modules allow to calculate also process costs, deducted from the real running time of the process steps combined with the known fixed and variable costs. Also forecasts on production times and costs are feasible.
Required control steps are defined by configuration and definition of the necessary parameters, connected to the PLC control by a standardized interface.
The system manages basic data - like articles, recipes, control recipes, material flow, cells/tanks/silos and scales. It is possible to issue production orders, to define production batches, to book and start required resources. When production is completed the process data will be recorded.
Remote service allows to support the operating staff quickly and without problems. In case of malfunctions it is at any time and within short term possible by th remote service to identify the reason for the failure and to restart the production.
